IS ONEDOT’S ARCHITECTURE SCALABLE?

Yes. Onedot’s ability to scale on demand is one of our biggest advantages. We can dynamically increase or decrease the amount of computing power needed for your data integration or transformation requirements using Big Data technology in the cloud.

Onedot can process data sets with 10’000 rows of data up to 100 million and beyond with no deterioration in performance or precision. Our architecture allows us to scale not just computing power but also memory, network, storage, monitoring, provisioning time and failover procedures with zero downtime—all while keeping costs economical.

DOES DATA SIZE OR VOLUME AFFECT ONEDOT’S SCALABILITY?

No. We use a distributed computing architecture, enabling us to automatically parallelise our time-linear algorithms and run them simultaneously in parallel machines.

Onedot can meet scalability requirements along three dimensions, volume, variety and speed. We automatically add as many machines to the cluster as the process requires. This means that we have system which dynamically adapts to varying types of workload and objectives without suffering any downtime or user intervention.

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM FILE UPLOAD LIMIT?

You can upload up to 5 GB via the Web application and up to 5 TB through the Web API. If you require higher upload limits, please contact us for more information.

HOW CAN I CONTROL COSTS AS NEW MACHINES ARE CREATED?

Onedot uses an annual subscription model to simplify pricing while giving you maximum flexibility and control over costs. We use capacity planning techniques, always avoiding under-utilisation to minimise costs while maintaining the agreed service level objective.

This means that no extraneous procurement or approval process is necessary for us to deploy, test and implement additional machines during your subscription. Neither do you have to worry about maintaining and paying for unused machines if your requirements decrease.
