E-Commerce Berlin Expo 2019 Station Berlin 7 Monaten ago

Berlin opens like a huge sea of eclectic, swirling, trembling neighborhoods encompassing a lively and reconstructed community concrete center. Amongst the gentrification, we discover the pulsating heart of Berlin in the districts Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain, Prenzlauer Berg or Neukölln. We were ready to feel the German capital with its relentless reinvention, creativity and „anything-goes“ attitude.

Staying two days in Berlin with a full schedule due to a nomination for Innovation 2019 at the E-Commerce Berlin Expo at the Postbahnhof Luckenwalder Straße. This is the venue for trade fairs, conferences, and events created under the name STATION-Berlin. Before the Second World War, the SW 77 post office was Germany’s largest parcel post office. It was closed down in 1997 and now the renovated, listed building is home to one of the most important e-commerce trade fairs of the year. It spans over a gigantic exhibition area of 8000m2 across two halls.

We were very happy about the nomination for the E-Commerce Berlin Expo Award 2019. Business Awards are excellent for the direction of the company, the retention of talent, the sales advantage and PR. Award winners typically expect 37 percent more growth in revenue, but all participants experience additional benefits such as increased awareness and attractiveness, immediate differentiation from competitors, new perspectives and a healthy morale boost.

The benefits are more tangible for highly specialised companies such as Onedot; it helps to establish recognition and credibility in the market. A prize gain can open up new opportunities and have a decisive impact on growth. The nominees met on Tuesday evening at the EBE19 Networking Party, which held the E-commerce Germany Awards 2019 Winners Ceremony. More than 350 e-commerce companies participated in around 10 categories. In the run-up, there was public online voting with final jury voting.

Winners of the E-Commerce Berlin Expo 2019 Award are:

  • Best Agency – dotSource
  • Best Analytics/BI Solution – ContentSquare
  • Best Customer Communication Tool – CrossEngage
  • Best Logistics Tool – Prime Penguin
  • Best Payment Tool – Cashpresso
  • Best Platform/Shop Software – Intershop
  • Best Sales Generating Tool – Idealo
  • Innovation / New development in E-Commerce – Chatchamp
  • International Expansion – Lengow
  • IT and Infrastructural Solution – Productsup

Onedot missed the award by a bit, but we were pleased for our nomination and congratulate the E-commerce Germany Awards 2019 winners.

Events such as these provide a glimpse of developments and trends from the industry for the industry and visitors could be sure that they were presented with the latest products and solutions from suppliers that point the way to the future and provide orientation for their daily work. Visitors were given a clear focus on the core competencies of the exhibitors and inspiration for tomorrow’s e-commerce. This Expo is certainly a market-leading communication platform for e-commerce.

The new Onedot stand aroused great interest among trade fair visitors so that numerous questions about product data solutions using artificial intelligence (AI) were asked directly. The number of discussions and contacts exceeded our expectations by far. We showed the advantages of the Onedot KI software, explained how automated product data on-boarding works optimally and how the time-to-market can be shortened. The E-commerce Berlin Expo 2019 was a complete success for us, we thank our guests and customers and are looking forward to future cooperation. Berlin is one of those cool cities – and its inhabitants know it. Berlin, we’ll be back!
